FAST Youth Lead the Way at Rainier Beach National Night Out
Fathers and Sons Together (FAST) was incredibly proud to serve as a community partner for this year’s National Night Out at the Rainier Beach Safeway. The evening was a beautiful celebration of neighborhood connection, made even more special by our amazing NGLU students.
Our youth truly held it down for us! Not only did they man our table and engage in meaningful conversations with attendees, but they also rolled up their sleeves to help with the heavy lifting of event set up and break down. We also want to give a special shoutout to one of our students who is currently interning with the SPD Community Service Officer (CSO) department—they showed up in a big way to support the event and represent both organizations with pride.

Fathers and Sons Together (FAST) was incredibly proud to be a community partner for the Rainier Beach National Night Out. We love seeing community connections in action! During the event, attendees joined forces to color a collective banner symbolizing our vibrant neighborhood spirit. We gifted the final piece to the local RB Safeway where the event was held, and we were thrilled today when Store Manager Rafiat sent us a picture showing it officially hung up in the store.
